Design

This site has been designed with input from usability and accessibility specialists and takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse.

The Assembly commisioned an independent review of it's website with regard to usability and accessibility in 2007, and many improvements were subsequently implemented in the new design as a result of the recommendations.

Most links on this site open in the same browser window. Any links to external websites open in a new window - these are identified by text visible when hovering the cursor over the link.

W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)

Pages on this site have been checked with the W3C validation tool and are valid HTML.

The Cascading Style Sheets used on this site validate to W3C standards.

In general, pages on this site conform to the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) AA standard. Whilst we have tried to make this site as accessible as possible, there may be some pages on the site where the standard is not completely met.
