Our Partners

The Regional Assembly works in partnership with a number of organisations in South East England to improve the quality of life for people who live or work here, by promoting the region and developing a regional vision, policies and strategies.

South East England Development Agency (SEEDA)

The Development Agency exists to develop and implement economic strategies within South East England and to aid economic regeneration in those parts of the region where it is most needed. To do this SEEDA is responsible for the distribution of central government funding to and monitoring of a wide variety of projects.

Working Together For South East England

The roles of the regional organisations have evolved since they were established. They are currently under review following the publication of the Sub-National Review of Economic Development and Regeneration. This online leaflet shows how SEEDA, GOSE and the Regional Assembly originally worked together.

South East Excellence

The Regional Assembly is a partner in South East Excellence, the regional centre of excellence for the South East region, with SEEDA and GOSE. The initial focus for the centre will be to work with professionals and politicians to improve the built environment. Our good practice guides are available on the South East Excellence website.
